# BoxCount Planner

> A free moving supplies calculator with an editable, printable checklist and practical packing guides.

The English-language calculator estimates ranges for moving boxes, tape, protective materials and specialty supplies. Inputs include home size, square footage, household size, belongings, moving distance and optional inventory details. Supported inputs cover studios to eight bedrooms, 100 to 10,000 square feet, and one to twelve people.

Estimates are planning guidance, not a measured inventory or a guarantee of accuracy. Actual needs depend on belongings, carton dimensions and packing technique. Users can edit planned quantities and subtract supplies they own or can borrow. Printing produces a checklist with the BoxCount logo.

Budgets use preset unit-cost ranges in US dollars. They are illustrative, not live retailer prices, and exclude taxes, delivery and moving services. Calculator entries stay in the browser tab; no account is required. See the method and privacy pages for details.
